I’m terrified to join the gyaru community. Some people are very harsh and judgmental and seem to be really two faced. Plus it’s like you are either really really good or really bad. I feel like if gyarus from japan saw the gaijin gyaru community they would just kind of laugh and be like ’ why’

I feel like gyaru in japan are human as well. They criticise each other, and support each other, they have arguments, and are two faced, they also can be the closest people to each other. I think you shouldn’t be afraid to join the gyaru community. There are a lot of nice people who are willing to help, and if it turns out that they are saying negative things about you, you just need to figure out what’s the best course of action for yourself.

ALL OF THAT italicizedness~ as much as we… well not me, because i’m not deluded. Everyone wants a ~community~ and sisterhood, and you put japanese gals on a pedestal as if they cant do anything wrong that you all fail to realize that they’re human too. THEY’RE GIRLS JUST LIKE US. You honestly cannot fathom some of the horror stories, drama, and scandals the gals over there go through. Its just as bad— if not WORSE than ours. I suggest people who think like anon~ to take time out.. and learn japanese… and dive into the real gritty and raw world of Sa-jin. The stuff us westerners pull is a booger flick compared to the stuff i saw/heard in their communities.
YES there are many good people… but YES there are much more haters and bad people too over there. Even within some of the best “UNITS” or small or semi-popular circles… there are issues that are ridiculous.
RACISM - … jp is one of those xenophobic countries… hearing people talk about others or giving them a hard time because they’re not ‘full japanese’ or because they’re mixed w/ filipino for that much is apparently grinding bitches gears.
Cliques/superiority entitlement - with any type of group where titles are place in a country where pride and shame are like emphasized takes its toll on society and how they treat others.
Bullying - there are even cases where…if a couple members dont like another and they dont want them in the group no more—they dont just tell them ’ we want u to go’ or ‘gtfo out our commzzz’. They harass them and make their life a living hell in the circle until they quit.
Netizens - hold more power than anything in your popularity and how others see you. they can make u.. or break you.
…just keep that in mind next time yall want to preach about japanese gals and circles and how everything is all rainbow sprinkles and how they always seem like they have that sisterly love. no. they’re JUST. LIKE. US.
